Bro. Timothy Robinson was called home on Monday, February 27, 2018 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was surrounded by his family. Timothy was born on July 18, 1960 to Lovie Brown and Charles Foster.
He was 1978 graduate of Monticello High School. His love for the outdoors kept him working in the logging industry his entire career. He took pride in the work he provided. The most important moment in his life was his reconnection to his family’s home church, Morning Star Baptist Church. He sat under the teachings of Pastor D.J. Buffington and elders of the church. One of the proudest moments of his life was when he became an ordained deacon. He proudly served in this role until he was called home. Timothy was known for his love in visiting the elders of the church. He could be found walking the halls of the nursing home, spreading cheer and encouragement. Timothy loved his family and called them frequently just to check in.
Bro Robinson had a love for martial arts and he was proud of his accomplishments. He was faithful student at Se-ark Martial Arts Academy, he loved the gym. He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Lovie Brown of Ann Arbor, Michigan; his son, Patrick Arrington; his sisters, Songa Brown of Chicago; Latunga Brown-Isom (Kevin) of Michigan and Meko (Melvin) Trotter of Wilmar, AR. He also leaves his brother Johnnie Foster (Jennifer) of Michigan. Timothy leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by Johnnie Foster, Sr. of Pine Bluff who has been a constant source of encouragement in his life.
He is survived by the love of his life, Gloria Cross of Monticello. She added joy and happiness to his days. Those preceding him in death are his father, Charles Foster; his grandparents William and Reonia Smith, Crawford and Evora Foster; and his brother, Kent Dewayne Robinson.
Services will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements made by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com
