Vicki Wright Moore
February 5, 1953 - September 21, 2018

Vicki Carolyn Wright Moore was called to home to our Lord on Friday, September 21, 2018. She was born on February 5, 1953 to the late Foster and Bettie Johnson Wright. She was known to all as a loving, compassionate individual who devoted her life to church, family and work. She has been known as the "mother to all". Her unconditional love for her family and friends has shown through in every aspect of her life. A dear family friend once said it was through seeing Vicki's relationship with her family that she learned what kind of mother she wanted to become. Vicki was a permanent fixture in the Monticello Dollar General and took great pride in managing her store and loved both her co-workers and customers.

She was a devoted Christian and dedicated member of the Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church family. She was a 1971 Monticello High School graduate. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Bettie Johnson Wright; along with her grandparents, Horace, Sr. and Ola Bostian Johnson.

She is survived in death by one brother, James Foster Wright; one daughter, Kelly Moore Burnett and husband Thomas Burnett; one son, Jason Moore; three grandchildren, Austin Daniel Moore, Madelin Danielle Moore and Abbigal Bliss Chatman; one uncle and aunt, Horace, Jr. "Buddy" and Ann Dye Johnson; her niece and nephew-in-law, Scarlett Wright and Dale Jones and nephew and niece in law, Shane Wright and Camella Weedon; one great nephew, Eno Wright along with many cousins.

Vicki devoted her life to her family and will continue to influence their lives even in death. Her beautiful life will be cherished by her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be fondly remembered by all as a loving mother, grandmother and sister in Christ, devoted friend and dedicated worker. Her love and happiness for others radiated from her and on to everyone she knew.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement.
