Betty Cater McDaniel, age 69 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born January 23, 1948 in Drew County, AR to the late J. D. Cater and Arcola Robertson Todd.

She was retired from Home Health, a Christian and member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one grandson, Dylan Dannehl.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby McDaniel of Monticello; two daughters, Lisa Rogers and husband Bret of Searcy and Angela Threlkeld and fiancé Tyson Theriot of Monticello; four brothers, Jackie Cater, Ronnie Cater, Buddy Cater and William Cater, all of Monticello; six sisters, Polly Hayden, Retha Cash, Patricia Lane, Lola Brown and Willie Briney all of Monticello and Mary Richardson of Mississippi; five grandchildren, Dale Curtis, Dustin Curtis, Ashley Aiken, Austin Lawson and Katelynn Wedige; and four great-grandchildren, Colton Curtis, Cayden Curtis, John Andrew Kizer and Whitlee Lawson.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
