Carl Barnett, age 84 of Watson, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at his home. He was born June 29, 1932 in Drew County, AR to the late Sam Barnett and Annie Mae Holdcraft Barnett.
He was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Huey Barnett, Houston LaFay Barnett and Dale Price Barnett; five sisters, Mattie Maddox, Erla Mae Simpson Langston, Brooksie Bostian, Annie Lee Paris Lytle and Beatrice Huff.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Barnett LaCotts of Watson and Virginia Barnett Akins of McGehee; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Devin Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Rash Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
