Marvin L. Mann, Jr., age 86 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born November 19, 1930 in El Dorado, AR to the late Marvin L. Mann, Sr. and Frances Ripley Mann.
He was retired Regional Manager for Hartford Fire Insurance Company, a United States Army Veteran of the Korea War and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Monticello. He was a graduate and supporter of the University of Arkansas at Monticello. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Mann.
Survivors include two daughters, Mindy Mann Nelson of Georgetown, Texas and Leslie Mann Kelley of Dallas, Texas; and four grandchildren, Anna Kelley, Grant Kelley, Luke Nelson and Leslie Nelson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Grand Manor Assisted Living facility located at 1960 Hwy. 425 North in Monticello.
