Marvin David Crook, age 63 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at his home. He was born April 12, 1954 in Monticello, AR to the late Donald Leroy Crook and Mattie Virginia Lane Crook.
He was a retired truck driver and a Christian. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Crook and Donald Crook; two twin sisters, Brenda Adams and Linda Crick; and one great-grandson, Gauge.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Haynes Crook of Monticello; four daughters, Becky Caldwell and husband Keith, Angela Crook and Jennifer Crook Majors all of Monticello and Kimberly Hampton of Warren; one son, Joshua Crook of Clarksdale; one sister, Mary Kirton and husband Lamar of Monticello; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral service. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
