Annie Mozell Jacobs

Annie M. Jacobs, age 89 of Monticello passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Woods Nursing and Rehab Facility in Monticello. She was the oldest of five children, born April 2, 1928 to the late Jasper and Lillie Bell Phillips.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Hubbard and Dorothy Phillips and one brother, Osman Phillips.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Barbara (Melvin) Hampton of Pine Bluff, her sons, Carl (Brenda) Jacobs of Monticello and Albert D. Jacobs, Jr. of Sacramento, CA; two nieces raised as daughters, Amanda (George) Matthews and Trinita Newton, both of Monticello; one sister, Alpha (James) Ambrose of Monticello; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Alford Branch officiating. Visitation will from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Friday night at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
