Jerry L. Rhodes
October 19, 1936 - August 19, 2020
Jerry L. Rhodes, age 83 of Wilmar, AR, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in Baptist Hospital North Little Rock. He was retired from International Paper Co., wherehe worked in shipping and a Veteran of The U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Monticello. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. While he was a man of few words, the words he spoke were heavy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dale Rhodes, and two sisters, Sue Rhodes Hickam and Marcell Rhodes McCain.
He is survived by one son, Robert Rhodes of Wilmar; one daughter, Patricia Kendall and husband Dennis of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, Brad and wife April, Megan and husband Josh, Chris, and wife Chenoa, and Amanda and husband John David, six great-grandchildren, Casie, Bentley, Prius, Kade, Falynn and Maddox; one brother, Harrell Rhodes; and the mother of his children, Elizabeth Blann Rhodes.
