Nellie Veatrice Jiles, age 82, of Dermott Arkansas, passed away October 22, 2020 in McGehee Arkansas. She was born October 4, 1938 to the late George Purifoy and Lucille Swain Purifoy.
She was a Seamstress and a Baptist.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Lewis of Little Rock, Arkansas, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Nettie B. McCreary of Gary, Indiana and Carolyn Johnson of Dermott, Arkansas, and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation, following Covid-19 guidelines, Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Visit www.stephenson-dearman.com to register online.
