Emma Willene Bolin Ellis Cruce

Emma Willene Bolin Ellis Cruce, age 95 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at her home in Monticello, AR. She was born January 25, 1925, in the Welch Community near Fountain Hill to the late James Andrew and Bertie Phillips Bolin. She was a jack of all trades and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ellis Beaty; one son-in-law, James E. O'Neill; her husbands, Charles R. Ellis and John W. Cruce; two brothers, Clinton Bolin and John Dee Bolin; and three sisters, Myrel Bolin, Elizabeth Bolin Stanley and Joyce Bolin Kinnaird.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Ellis O'Neill-Rawls and husband Tony of Monticello; six grandchildren, Heather O'Neill Dodd and husband J.B, Erin O'Neill, Shane O'Neill and wife Amy, Holly Montgomery and husband Randy, Tony Beaty and wife Amy, and Jenny Satterlee and husband Brandon; fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
There will be a visitation Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Masks will be required. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020, in Eden Cemetery in Ashley County with Rev. Sanders Brooks officiating. Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.
