Ricky Dean Burton

Ricky Dean Burton, age 61 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021, at his home in Monticello. He was born October 22, 1959, in Monticello, AR to the late William Otis Burton and Jewel Virginia Burton.
He was a Union pipeliner and member of Enon Baptist Church. Ricky was a member of the pipeliner�s Labor and Operator�s Union for 45 years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, along with hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Larry Burton, Robert Burton, and Kenneth Burton.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Michelle Burton; his daughter and son-in-law, Candice and Brad VanDee; two brothers, Jackie Burton and wife Betty and Randy Burton; one sister, Linda Carpenter and husband Lloyd; two grandsons, Parker and Preston VanDee; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
