Wilson Eugene Wells, 88, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Arkansas. He was born August 27, 1933, in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Nathaniel Wells and Robizine Gardner Wells. Wilson was retired from Burlington Industries where he was a supervisor for many years. He loved fishing and working in his garden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and seven siblings.
Wilson is survived by his wife, Magnolia Wells, of Monticello, AR; one son, Larry D. Wells of Colorado Springs, CO.; stepchildren, Michael Dunlap and Tony Dunlap both of Monticello; two brothers, Winford Wells of Compton, CA, and Dwight Wells of Monticello; five sisters, Eupharzine Clifton, Jessie Williams, Stella Gray, Juanita Spencer, all of Monticello, and Elizabeth Ingram of Hot Springs; grandson, Lawrence Wells; great-grandson, Elijah Wells; along with numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Graveside services will be Sunday, January 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery, in Monticello, Arkansas.
