Madge Youngblood Hamilton, 95, of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 at Belle View Nursing & Rehab in Monticello. She was born November 23, 1914 in Florence (Drew County).
She was the widow of James R. Hamilton, a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. Youngblood and Bune Vista Lynch Youngblood and was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Youngblood, Stacy Youngblood and Robert Youngblood; two sisters, Ida Phillips and Mattie Breedlove.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Brooks of Notasulga, AL, Judy Brothers of Mt. Home, AR and Sherry Wilkerson and husband, Larry of Monticello; one sister, Betty Lytle of Biloxi, MS; five grandchildren, Traci Burton, Brad Brothers, Tara Wilkerson, Amos Wilkerson and James Brooks, nine great-grandchildren.
