Patricia Ann Lewis
July 5, 1941 - October 11, 2010

Sister Patricia Ann Jones Lewis (Momma Ann) was born on July 5th 1941 in Relfe Bluff, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Lula Mae Jones. She departed this life on October 11, 2010 at Drew Memorial Hospital

She was an active member of the MT. Pleasant AME Church for many years. She served as member of the Trustee Board and Stewardess Board #2; she was a member of the Class #1, Lay President, and the Vice President of the Missionary Society and Alterative Delegate of Southeast Arkansas Conference. She was educated in the Drew Public School System. She later became a successful owner-operator of Sneaky Bar-B-Que. She retired from the Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center as a Life Skills Trainer. She was currently a Carrier for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ulyess J. Lewis, two children, Barbara Ann and Thomas Lewis. Her parents Thomas and Lula Mae Jones, two sisters Allie Jones and Frances Phillips, and one grandchild Randy Coleman.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter Diane Avery and an adopted daughter Adrianna Daniels-Lewis of Monticello, AR; one stepdaughter Ulina Lewis-Jones of Fort Lewis, WA.; four sons Ulyess Lewis Jr. (Betty) of Little Rock Arkansas, Alfred Lewis (Kaye), Larry Lewis (Yvette), Joel Lewis (Deetra) all of Monticello, Arkansas; two stepsons Henry Moore of California and Kennon (Rosie) Coleman of Red Oak, TX; three Sisters Dorothy Jones, Joelynn Jones and Judy (John) Ferrell all of Monticello; two brothers Calvin Jones (Euphemia) of Warren, Arkansas and James Jones (Joyce) of Waynesville, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
