Timothy Lynn Wood, age 60 of Hermitage, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, in Bradley County, AR. He was born November 30, 1961, in Warren, AR to Joyce Anice Hamilton Wood and the late Thomas Edward Wood.
He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department and was a Christian. Timothy loved spending time with his grandchildren, riding horses, hunting, fishing and telling stories.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marie Gardner Wood of Hermitage; three sons, Jonathon Wood, Benny Wood and Jacob Wood and wife Cindy all of Hermitage; one brother, Todd Wood and wife Misty of Hermitage; three grandchildren, Lizzie Wood, Jacelynn Wood and Jake Wood; a special niece, Holly Wood; his dog, Roxie; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Perkins and husband Steve, Ramona Richardson and husband Jacky and Wendy Belin and husband Michael; and a brother-in-law, William ''Bubba'' Gardner and wife Julie.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Williams and Rev. Bobby Hall officiating. There will be a visitation Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Ingalls, AR.
