Ardell Allen, Jr., age 59 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was born March 21, 1963, in Drew County, AR to Irene Miller Wimbley and the late Ardell Allen, Sr.
He was a member of Mt. Peleum A.M.E. Church where he loved attending and also enjoyed listening to music and sitting outside.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Miller Wimbley of Hamburg; and four sisters, Betty Miller of Norfolk, VA, Callie Phillips of Little Rock, Carolyn King and husband Ray of Monticello and Deborah Page and husband Larry of Hamburg.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. There will be a visitaion from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. You can sign Ardell's guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
