D.C. Wimpy, Jr.

D.C. Wimpy, Jr., age 74 of Monticello, AR, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, at his home in Monticello. He was born July 10, 1949, in Jonesboro, AR to the late D.C. Wimpy, Sr., and the late Pauline Bailey Wimpy.
D.C. enjoyed hunting and fishing, particularly in his younger years with his Buddies at their camp in the Conservation League. He was a retired farmer who loved the challenge of digging in the dirt, and a former Truck Driver hauling fuel in Iraq for KBR. D. C. had a wild sense of adventure telling stories of working in Iraq, several folks likened his enthusiasm when telling these stories to sounding as though he were visiting DisneyWorld. He was very creative and made many friends and neighbors a ''flame thrower'' which are still seen in use today. Whatever he was working on, he did it with great gusto.
D.C. is survived by two sisters, Patricia Wimpy Reynolds (Glenn) of Ferndale, AR and Susan Wimpy Craig (Bob) of McGehee, AR, as well as a host of Uncles, Aunts and cousins. D.C. will be cremated with burial at a later date.
