Peggy Ann Bumpass
January 5, 1947 - June 5, 2023
Peggy Ann Bumpass, age 76 of Monticello, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at Gardner Nursing Home in Star City, AR. She was born January 5, 1947, in Pine Bluff AR to the late Joseph Carroll Gibbs and Mildred Gertrude Appling Gibbs.
She loved spending time with family and friends, was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed working in her yard. She always had a smile on her face, had a big heart and was always willing to help others.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Hankins; a son, Phillip Burks; four sisters, Pat Jackson, Betty Norton, Nancy Sipes and Joyce Abernathy; and one niece, Jeri Taylor.
She is survived by her grandchildren; Vince Sellers, Lowell Ladd, Roy Ladd (Dedride), Asa Hankins, Zach Hankins, Hannah Palmer (Dewayne) and Savannah Hankins; four great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews along her sweet dog Peanut that she dearly loved.
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Monticello. There will be a visitation preceding the graveside service from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the cemetery. You can sign Mrs. Peggy's guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
