Kenneth Dewayne Owens, age 47 of Dermott, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home. He was born October 13, 1975, in Dermott, AR to Kenneth Owens and the late Gladys Katherine Piper Owens.
Dewayne loved restoring and painting old vehicles and all types of mechanic work. He also loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his dog, Lilly.
He is survived by his wife, Misty Pearson Owens of Dermott; two sons, Tristin Hunter McClellan of Monticello and Kristopher McCullough; one daughter, Brianna Jane Morgan of Hermitage; his father, Kenneth V. Owens of Monticello; two step children, Allie Summerford of Greenville, MS and Zach Summerford of Star City; one brother, Clark Piper of North Carolina; and two step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bud Banks officiating. Burial will be in Rash Cemetery.
