Dorothy Clifton Foster

Dorothy Foster, 67, of Monticello, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at The Woods of Monticello. She was born on July 11, 1956, in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Leron Clifton and Virginia Ferrell Clifton. Dorothy retired from Burlington Industries after 26 years of service. She was a caregiver for over 10 years after she retired from Burlington. She graduated from Monticello High School.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Foster.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Jerrilyn Swann (David) and Latrice Foster; grandchildren, Takalia Ingram, Samari Anderson, Kedrick Anderson, Jr., Akavia Stovall, and Ky'Mani Foster; sisters, Brenda Freeman (Donald) and Helen Jordan; brothers, Bobby Ray Clifton (Charlene) and Wayne Clifton; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2023, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Alvester Phillis officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
