Mark Wilkes, age 63 of Monticello, AR passed away at his home Thursday, January 18, 2024. Mark was born to Smedia Wilkes, Sr. and Mary Wilkes on March 4, 1960, in Monticello, Arkansas.
He was married to the late Lawanda McWhorter Wilkes who preceded him in death. Others who preceded him in death were his son, Christopher O'Neal; his parents, Smedia Sr. and Mary Wilkes; four brothers, Smedia Jr., Garnett, Cleolen, and Vance Wilkes; and two sisters, Dorothy and Linda Wilkes.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his daughter, Charmaine (Ryan), son, Marjon; grandchildren, Christonnie, Ethan, and Eliana; his sisters, Mary, Bennie, Pat, and Shirley (Geneo); brothers, Leonard, and Timothy; and his loving family and friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, Arkansas.
