Cheryl Denise Shifflett Stewart, age 71 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. She was born June 22, 1953, in Lubbock, TX to the late Robert Leo Shifflett and Margaret Lytle Shifflett.
Cheryl enjoyed computers, watching old movies on television but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Sue Stewart; and a sister, Dwanna Rouse.
She is survived by her husband, John Stewart of Monticello; one daughter, Patricia of Monticello; two siblings, Sherry Clark of West Virginia and Henry Shifflett of Monticello; two granddaughters; and three great granddaughters (with another on the way).
