Ronald Dean Piper, Sr., 64, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. He was born May 2, 1946 in Monticello.

He was retired from Burlington Industries, an Army National Guard Veteran and a Christian. He was the son of the late Harold Dean Piper and Marie Free Piper and was preceded in death by his wife, Arla Rawls Piper; one grandson, Remington Suber; two brothers, Earl Raymond Piper and Larry Piper and one sister, Darlene Rice.

Survivors include four sons, David Piper of Paragould, Bryan James and wife, Wendy of Hot Springs, Joseph James and wife Danita and Ronnie Piper, Jr. and wife Holly, all of Monticello; four daughters, Rhonda Roque and husband, Salvadore of Warren, Karen Davidson and husband, Darrin of Dallas, TX, Tanya Roberts and husband, Chuck of Star City and Kimberly Suber and husband, Punkin of Dermott; three brothers, his twin, Donnie Piper and wife, Judy of Springdale, William Piper and wife, Loretta of Rogers and Johnny Piper and wife, Cora of Monticello; two sisters, Margaret Nealey and husband, Travis of Pine Bluff and Brenda Walker and husband, Ronnie of Monticello; fourteen grandchildren.
