Sherri Kaye Cruce

Sherri (known as Kaye to family and friends) Cruce, 49, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 in Hot Springs. She was born August 24, 1961 in Monticello.
Kaye grew up and was educated in Pine Bluff, graduating Pine Bluff High School in 1979, and in recent years, resided in Hot Springs. She attended and grew up in East Side Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, and was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Lenora Wiscaver, and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Marguerite Cruce, all of Wilmar.
She was known for her love of animals and their wellbeing. Her special love was a cocker named 'Lady' that she loved and cared for many years. She loved music and became especially proficient on the French horn.
Survivors include her parents, L. J. and Annette Wiscaver Cruce of Pine Bluff; one sister, Terri Cruce Strawn of Pine Bluff; a nephew, Joshua Strawn and wife, Amy and a great niece, Mia Strawn, all of Redfield; her uncles, Kenny Wiscaver and wife, Bobbie of Monticello and Jimmy Cruce of Gresham, Oregon; and many cousins in the Monticello, Green Hill and New Hope communities.
