Mary Ellen Province, 85, of Monticello, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Woods Nursing & Rehab. She was born November 19, 1925 in McCool, Mississippi.
She was a homemaker, care giver and member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church in Monticello. She was the daughter of the late Frank Halderman and Henrietta Martin Halderman.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Province of Monticello; two step sons, John Wayne Slaughter of Monticello and Scott Sanders of Lebanon, MO; one step daughter, Sherry Province of Lebanon, MO; four step grandchildren, one step great-grandchild, one niece and one nephew.
