Billy B. Taylor

Billy B. Taylor, 82, of Monticello, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at his home. He was born January 23, 1929 in Tyro, AR.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor for MonArk Boat Company, a U. S. Army Veteran of Korea and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Claude N. Taylor and Mary Gibbs Taylor and was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Taylor and Edwin Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Odean Smith Taylor of Monticello; two sons, Billy Gill Taylor of Memphis, TN and Mark Taylor of White Hall; one daughter, Annette Hughes of Dumas; one sister, Mary Lynn Carter of Tyro, AR; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Tyro Cemetery.
