Chester Steele, 73 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born September 20, 1935 in Drew County.
He was retired from Burlington Industries, a baptist and was the son of the late James H. Steele and Lula Mae Golden Steele.
Survivors include one brother, James Steele of Star City.
