Eleanor Reep Echols
December 6, 1916 - February 3, 2012

Eleanor K. Hunter Echols, died on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Woods of Monticello. She is the widow of Lamar Hunter, who died in combat in WW II and Doyle E. Echols. She was born to John B. Reep and Ethel Doster Reep on December 6, 1916 in the community of Rye, AR. She was a long time member of Wood Avenue Presbyterian Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a young son, Douglas C. Echols, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by one son, Doyle Randall Echols (Elizabeth) and one daughter, Eddye Ann Hunter Reinhart (Richard) and two sisters, Lois Lack of Monticello and Ava Hairston of Warren; five grandchildren, Dr. Jeff Reinhart, Johnna Cason, Susan Frost, Judd Echols, Will Echols, and one step grandchildren, Michael Cameron; six great-grandchildren, Sam Cason, Zach Cason, Davis Frost, Luke Frost, John Frost, Brooks Echols and three step-great-grandchildren, Josh Cason, Gracyn and Reid Cameron.

Her family would like to express sincere appreciation for the care provided by her grandson, Dr. Jeff Reinhart and staff, Drew Memorial Hospital, The Wood of Monticello and to a very special friend and care giver, Mary Thompson.
