Rufus Hardy 'Pete' Forrest, Jr., 67, of Tyro, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012. He was born January 4, 1945 in Monticello.
He was retired from the Monticello Fire Department, was a siding installer, U. S. Army Veteran and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Rufus Hardy Forrest, Sr. and Marcelle Miller Forrest Clary.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Paschall Forrest of Tyro; one son, Tim Forrest of Mountainburg; seven daughters, Sandy Coulter and husband, Russell of Rudy, Tammy English and husband, David and Lea Faulkner and husband, Steve, both of Monticello, Shelly Smith of Tulsa, OK, Samantha Paschall and husband, T. C. and Stacy Paschall, both of Tyro and Stephanie Paschall of Tulsa, OK; his step dad, Hulan Clary of Monticello; his children's mother, Nancy Marter Forrest of Monticello; twelve grandchildren, Alex Faulkner, Logan Faulkner, Sam English, Logan Coulter, Erin Coulter, Tommy Forrest, Lexie Graves, Lukas Graves, Jessica Smith, Brier Smith, Ashley Smith and Ryan Jaggars, one great-grandchild, Blake Forrest.
