Earline J. Vickers

Earline 'Jones' Vickers was born December 25, 1925 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed from this life Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Belle View Estate Nursing Home in Monticello, Arkansas.
Earline attended church at The Church of God in Christ in Wilmar, AR for many years before uniting with St. James A.M.E. Church in Wilmar, where she remained a faithful member until her health failed. She served in capacity as Church School Superintendent, member of the Ladies Missionary Society and a member of the choir. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her only sister and by her husband, Harold Vickers.
Earline 'Jones' Vickers lived for years in California where she was a barber and then moved to Chicago, IL where she worked in the public school system as a school community representative until she retired and moved south to Arkansas.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Kenneth Charles and wife, Sandra, Edward Vickers and wife, Teresa, Michael Vickers and wife, Minnie; daughter, Rosaline Vickers; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
