Justus Grandy

"The clock of time is wound but once and no man has the power to tell you when the hands will stop at late or early hour. Now is the only time we own. Place no faith on tomorrow's day for the clock may then be still for I, Justus, lived a long life but hope others will live longer."
Justus Grandy, 88, the daughter of the late Olin and Melissa Jiles Thomas was born November 18, 1923 in Wilmar, AR. The "sunset" of her life was Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Brotman Medical Center, Culver City, CA.
Professing faith and accepting Christ as her Lord and Master at an early age, she united with Morning Star Baptist Church. She united in holy matrimony to George Grandy August 1, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, two sons, and one granddaughter.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory two devoted daughters, Mary Goldsmith and Helen Grandy of Los Angeles, Ca; one son, Melvin Grandy of AR; four grandsons and six great-grandchildren and a host of other relative and dear friends.
