George Swan

George Tutt Swan, 91, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Belle View Estates Nursing Home in Monticello. He was born January 25, 1921 in Monticello.
He was a retired logger, U. S. Army Veteran of WW II and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Martin Luther Swan and Margaret Mutt Frady Swan and was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Chambers Swan.
Survivors include two sons, William Eugene Swan and James Larry Swan, both of Monticello; one sister, Kathleen Babe Padgett of Monticello; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
