Betty Inez Burton

Betty Inez Lee Burton, age 83 of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. Born June 23, 1930 in Ashley County, AR, she was the daughter of the late David Allen Lee, Sr. and Elsie Spry Lee.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Burton was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Her passion was caring for her family. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Burton.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Roma Gene Burton of Monticello; one son, Don Burton and wife, Lavera of Jonesboro; one daughter, Mary Louise Burton Miller and husband, Gary of Monticello; four brothers, David "D.A." Lee of Texas, Don Lee of Kansas City, MO, Robert Lee of Temecual, CA and James Lee of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a very special companion and friend, Debbie Hayes of Warren.
