Curtis Waymon Wilson

Curtis Waymon Wilson, 85, of Monticello passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Autumn Leaves of Riverstone in Missouri City, Texas. He was born January 14, 1929.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor at UAM, having also worked as a welder and carpenter. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and a member of the Phillips Hunting Club. He was the son of the late Henry Curtis Wilson and Verta Burks Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Harrison Wilson, one brother, Joe Wilson and one sister, Mary Sue Wilson Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Wilson Owens and her husband, Rick Owens and one grandson, Tyler Wilson Owens, all of Sugar Land, Texas. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
