Betty Gail Wyles, age 80 of Monticello passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born December 11, 1933 in Uniontown, Alabama to the late Otto Kenton Shedd and Lillie Belle Combs Shedd.

She was a housewife, a retired Burlington Industries employee and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Monticello. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Shedd.

Survivors include her husband Edgar Wyles of Monticello; two brothers, Danny Shedd of Searcy and Harold Shedd of Ozark; and one sister, Gloria Conway of Denver, Colorado.
