Louise Jones Grubbs, age 99 of Monticello, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born April 2, 1915 in Drew County, AR to the late Lee Jones and Mina McClain Jones.

She was the widow of Rodney Grubbs, a housewife and a member of the Lacey United Methodist Church. Mrs. Grubbs loved her family and working in her yard. She was also very active in her church, her community and the local 4H Club. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carol Jones and five sisters, Irma Lee Snodgrass, Callie Johnson, Ruby Bailey, Merle Billingsley and Hazel Jones.

Survivors include two daughters, Mignon Causey and husband Macon of Lacey and Marilyn James of Little Rock; one brother, Willis Jones and wife Bitty of Lacey; four grandchildren, Beth Langdon and husband Doug, Carol Sawyer and husband Dennis, Tara Kolb and Wayne Sullivan, III; three great-grandchildren, Sydney Gibson, Raven Hill and Nichole Sawyer; and three great-great-grandchildren, Ava and Kyra Hargis and Kaleb Hewitt.
