Edward Lee Oltmann, age 84 of Monticello, formerly of Ulm, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Mr. Oltmann farmed at Ulm for many years and moved to Monticello in 1978 to farm until he retired in 2002. He is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Betty Louise and his parents, Adolph E. and Marie Oltmann.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Campbell and husband Jim of Baton Rouge, LA and Janice Shrum and husband Gary of Monticello; three brothers, Adolph Oltmann and Bill Oltmann both of Brinkley and Charles Oltmann of Ulm; two grandchildren, Gabe Shrum of Rogers and Heather Shrum Carter and husband Nick of Monticello; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Carter, Reagan Shrum and Gillian Shrum.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24 at Zion Lutheran Church Ulm Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home of Monticello, AR. After the service, family and friends may gather at the Zion Lutheran Church Community Room. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, P O Box 158, Ulm, AR 72170.
