She was a retired hair dresser, waitress and was one of Jehovahs Witnesses. She was the daughter of the late Noah Craven Horton and Viola Boyd Horton and was preceded in death by one son, Robert Earl Barnette and two nephews, John Klines and George Glasson.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee Camden and Sandra Barnette, both of Monticello; two sisters, Hazel Turner and Mary Ella Glasson, both of Warren; one brother, James Wear of Wilmar; a special friend, Earle Barnette of Monticello; one granddaughter, Tegan Shifflett and husband, Robert of Monticello; two grandsons, Stephen Withers of Springdale and D. J. Kelley of Monticello; one great-grandson, Mathis Shifflett of Monticello, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will meet at Sandra Barnette's, 386 State School Road, Monticello.
