Doris Donham Tucker, age 89 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Belle View Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born February 15, 1927 to the late Leonard L. "Jake" Donham and Mattie Devine Donham.

She was the widow of Shelby Tucker, retired owner/operator of Doris's Beauty Shop on North Gabbert Street, worked for Bill and Clara's Beauty Shop and was a member of North Side Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Donham, Charlie Donham and her twin brother, Morris Donham; and three sisters, Willie Cruce, Ruby Myhand and Tina Gardner.

Survivors include one brother, Bill Donham of Monticello; one sister, Clara Donham Bailey of Monticello; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Stephenson Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time.
