She was the widow of Elbert Martin and Herchell Wilkerson, a housewife and a member of Old Union Southern Baptist Church. Mrs. Martha loved cooking, sewing, crocheting but most of all, loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by a son, Micky Wilkerson; and a sister, Julia Sanderlin.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Wilkerson of Tyro, Rev. Larry Wilkerson and wife Sherry and Ricky Wilkerson all of Monticello; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Tyro Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Anderson Chapel Baptist Church, 26713 Highway 54 East, Dumas, AR 71639.
