Miami, OK Monday, October 10, 2016 Dear Mary Nell I am so sorry to hear of James Benny's passing. We were neighbors for so many years and had a lot of good times together as kids. I remember the times Mr. and Mrs. Lasiter would load us all up and take us to Monticello to the show, what a treat as we didn't get to do much back then. James Benny was a good Christian man and loved the Lord. He is now in the arms of Jesus. Life will be hard without the love of one you've had for so many years to share everything with. Treasure those memories as so many of us have had to do. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and may God bless you and keep you in His care. love WillabeaMike & Leann Doss

Wilmar, AR Sunday, October 9, 2016 Mary, Benny, & Nancy: My heart breaks for you..It is so hard to lose a loved one. We had a lot of memories from the first grade to becoming adults. I am sure if James B. could he would be telling you how beautiful heaven is...My eyes beheld the glory,
Of beauty beyond compare;
I looked for familiar faces,
And found them waiting there.
My loved ones gathered ‘round me,
Their cry was “Welcome home;
Your journey now is over,
And you’ll never be alone.”
I turned and looked...and there He stood,
The One who died for me;
He said, “My child, you are My own,
My love has set you free.”
So when your hearts are filled with grief,
Just look beyond the blue;
For I am safe and I am home,
And I will wait for you.
With love,
Ruth

Woodlawn, AR Saturday, October 8, 2016 Mary and family, this is so hard to write because I'm family too and this is like losing my last brother. I had him from first grade through school. You had him from 13-14 on. He just couldn't get away from us Doss girls. Seems like we were friends from the first day he got on that big yellow bus with Miss Ona standing there right beside it. It was a friendship that lasted more than 70 years and a kinship that lasted more than 57 years. We're sure going to miss him. But in that length of time you make so many memories that they should be something we can talk about and laugh and cry about for years and years to come. Lean on your Faith and know that today Heaven got an angel that is something else! You will be in our thoughts and prayers every step of the way. Our prayer is for God to give you the strength to see you through this and the comfort and peace that only He can.MOST
