Mrs. Brown was retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leslie J. Brown; one son, Wayne Brown; three daughters, Barbara Wood, Carolyn Brown and Charlotte Brown; four grandchildren, Jonathan Cox, Michael Glen Woods, Loy Dean Cox and Denita Carol Wood; one great grandson, Josh Wells; two brothers, Ray and Howard Tucker; and her step-mother.
Survivors include four sisters, Mary Norsworthy, Eva Sissell, Clara Chase and Charlene Heidins; four grandchildren, Terry Hodges, Consuelo London, Tammy London and Stacy London; and one great granddaughter, Dominique Winger.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
