He was a construction worker and was of the Southern Baptist faith. Frank loved animals and had quite an animal farm including goats, dash hounds, fish, along with many other species of animals. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Patty and his step-parents, Ernestine Barnes and Larry Yost.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Don Watson of Alvin, TX and Bobby Columbo of Houston, TX; three brothers, Buddy Barnes and wife Billie, Tony Barnes and wife Stacy and Monty Barnes all of Strong; three sisters, Gloria Chadwick and husband Wayne, Debbie Dimler and Tammy Smith all of Strong; and three grandchildren all of Texas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery.
