Donald "Buddy" Guin, age 73 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born June 18, 1943 in Drew County, AR to the late Willie Marion Guin and Bernice Lucy Crook Guin.

He was a retired electrician for Burlington Industries and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Lisa McHenry Trantham; and a sister, Wanda Guin Bates.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Gravenmier Guin of Monticello; one son, Stephen Guin and wife Kelly of Monticello; one step-son, Ron Smith and wife Sherri of Cave Springs; two step-daughters, Lisa Swain and husband Danny of Monticello and Debbe Watson and husband Stephen of Beaumont, TX; two sisters, Mary Ann Guin Mitchell of Pine Bluff and Lelia Carol Guin Davis of Monticello; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Bud Banks officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
