Doris Adair Davis, age 91 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Belleview Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born March 20, 1925 in Booneville, MS to the late Herman and Georgia Mae Dilworth Adair.

She was the widow of Charlie "Snookie" Davis, a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Janelle Wicker and Joann Matthews.

Survivors include three sons, Charles G. Davis of Monticello, Ricky E. Davis and wife Diane of Gulf Shores, AL and Steve A. Davis of Monticello; six grandchildren, Kenny Davis (Michelle), Lance Davis, Staci Davis Gregory (Brian), Kellie Davis Nichols (Phillip), Nick Davis and Heath Davis; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces. She is also survived by longtime friends, which became family, Laverne Burnett, Harry and Flora Crossett and her prayer partner, Linda Thorp.

A graveside memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Union Cemetery at Rye. A memorial luncheon will held at 12 noon at First Assembly Fellowship Hall, Building #2 in Monticello. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
