Michael John Gauthier, age 64 of Monticello, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at his home in Monticello. He was born October 5, 1952 in Boston, MA to the late Raymond Gauthier and Ruth Edgre Wilkinson.

Michael was Sales Manager for Ryburn Motor Company, a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and attended the First United Methodist Church in Monticello. Other than his parents his was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Wahlberg and one sister, Jackie Morrison.

He is survived by one son, Darrin Gauthier of California; two brothers, Laurence Gauthier and Scott Wahlberg of Massachusetts; two sisters, Donna Nelson and Mitzi Panzer of Massachusetts; one granddaughter and two great-grandsons; two special friends, Donna Greenlee and Chris Loyd; and a host of special friends at Ryburn Motor Company.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
