He was retired supervisor for water treatment plant in Morgan City, LA, United States Army Veteran and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mena, AR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Ann Adair. He was an artist, mainly painting landscapes and sketching pictures. He enjoyed playing computer games, cards, dominoes and Sudoku.
Survivors include four brothers, Timothy, Titus, Michael and Frank Carol; three sisters, Jerilyn, Annett and Cathy; special caregivers, Jimmy and Sandra Yates of Mena; Phillip, Rachel and Jamie, whom he thought of as his grandchildren, that he loved very much and in return, they thought of him as their "Papa" and loved him dearly. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 at Union Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Ron Tilley officiating. Visitation will be 9:00-10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
