Susan was a Christian, a member of Summit Baptist Church in Pine Bluff and was retired from the Pine Bluff Commercial after 33 years of service in sales and advertising.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Ronald Burns of Pinebergen; two daughters, Jami Grove and husband Philip of Cherokee Village and Shannon Burns of Dumas; two grandsons, Peyton Grove and Drew Grove of Cherokee Village; one brother, Billy Wayne Johnson and wife Diann of Monticello; two nephews, Jason Johnson and wife Rose of San Marcos, TX and J.T. Johnson of Shreveport, LA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy Burns and wife Aleta of Bastrop and Jimmy Burns and wife Beverly of Hector; her mother-in-law, Edna Burns; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Rash Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday preceding the funeral service.
