Susan Annette Marter, age 49 of Dermott, passed Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Dermott City Nursing Home in Dermott, AR. She was born November 2, 1968 to Ava Hollinger Marter and the late Harold Marter.

She taught school in the Montessori School in West Helena and was a Christian of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Marjorie Hollinger and paternal grandparents, Homer and Callie Marter.

Survivors include one daughter, Megan Montgomery Tetkoskie and husband Nick of North Little Rock; her mother, Ava Hollinger Marter of Collins; one brother, John Marter and wife Dianne of Crossett; one sister, Vickie Godwin and husband Dale of West Helena; two grandsons, John and Joseph; two granddaughters, Madison and Presley; two nephews, Dale Godwin and David Marter; one niece, Melissa Marter Petterson; along with other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Centerpoint Cemetery with Rev. Don Justice officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
