He was a graduate of Monticello High School, a construction worker for many years and was a member of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three grandchildren.
He is survived by two children, Brittany Block of Monticello and Stevia Block of Arkadelphia; four sisters, Linda (Jerry) Vincent; Gloria Oates, Ladonna (Eddie) Jones and Elaine Ingram, all of Monticello; two grandchildren, Christian and Kyrin Block of Monticello; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Union Ridge # 2 Cemetery. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
